Once Again...

That was one nice morning. He woke up early from bed. Slowly he walked to the window and parted the curtains. Gleam of heaven shine flooded into his room. He breathed fresh air. From afar, he could hear the sweet tune of morning song sung by those happy birds. The rise of the sun made the sea looked shimmering and so peaceful. And just as he placed his arms on the window, brisk wind from the shore came caressing his face.

He needed no time to squander as he made his pace through the beach, enjoying the serenity at his best, barefoot. That was such indescribable feelings. Nature was like connecting to his soul that morning. He sauntered along the beach, looking as if he owned the world. There was a feeling inside him as though hundreds and hundreds of infinitesimal bubbles were rising up from his stomach and bursting merrily in the top of his head. That was simply awesome.

But just as he could freed his soul into such tingling sensation, he stumbled.

That was the time when he realized that he's getting older.  Pathologically fatuous that this thought rekindled at such time. The trifle pain dissipated, and giggles started. But as soon as he kept on giggling, he gradually came to his senses. He shut aimlessly, thoughtlessly.

Gust of wind still with its caressing, but no way could he feel any better. His effulgent eyes welled up with tears of undefined remorse. As though as a weightlifter, he mustered all his crippling strength from letting those tears to cascade. Once again he failed for his heart had sunk deep in the agonizing sea bed, blackened with dark past he himself did.

“Erggghhh!” his heart made a silent shriek. “I must be strong and perseverance regardless of what might come in line. This is my life and I must be brave!”

All the years then, he just let the stupidity reigned his soul. All shameful things he had committed. So now, let it be the cease by which no more, no more historical dreadful deeds would abash him. He would love his soul more than loving the person he once loved.

That was it. He would become a good person, a person who has pride and dignity of no qualm. “Yes, that is actually the lost me, and I shall bring that alive again,” he motivated himself in a much mellower tone. Such thought made him felt so thankful of having chance to rectify his life to the betterment.

He lifted his face up in the air, by the sea, witnessed by hundreds birds, accompanied by splashing waves. Alhamdulillah he smelled tranquillity again which once he could not smell.
